BATTLESHIPS

1)      Draw one ship on your map and make sure that nobody sees you. You may put your ship inside any square where there is sea. The ship must be inside the square.

2)      Work in pairs. You have to guess where the other player has put the ships and bomb them.

3)      Decide what square to bomb choosing one adjective related with a word that should start with the letter.  For example: Is the ship in the black cat?

4)      If the square that you bomb contains a ship, the other player must say hit. If the square that you bomb is next to the square with a ship in it (including diagonally), the other player must say near.

5)      Player take turns to bomb each other’s ship. The first player that bombs the other’s ship is the winner.

6)      A player whose ship is being bomb may challenge the other player to spell the word that he or she is saying; if the other player is unable to spell the world, he or she misses a turn.
