I remember a pre-school
education teacher who handed out a piece of a puzzle to every student. It had a
number on the back side and she asked us to keep it until the next day.
The following morning,
the teacher called us using the number our puzzle piece had. Then, she put it
on the right place of the puzzle that was on a cardboard. We were 20 students and
the puzzle had 20 pieces. When the teacher finished putting the 20 pieces, we
could see the wonderful image in its whole, with the exception of a missing
piece that prevented us from seeing the beauty of the entire image.
The student that
had received the 19th piece was absent that day and we needed that
piece to be able to see the entire image. In this way, the teacher showed how
important each of us was to complete the whole puzzle.
Each one of us
has a key piece that gives life to the image, each one of us are a unique
piece. Through our daily experiences
we obtain the necessary wisdom to produce, develop and improve the puzzle piece
we use to serve the world.
